If you are not satisfied with the price of the service

The Swedish Bar Association’s Consumer Disputes Board examines disputes between a consumer (a natural person acting outside their business or professional activities) and a lawyer or law firm concerning a service provided to the consumer by the lawyer or law firm. If a client is dissatisfied with the service provided by the lawyer, the client must contact the lawyer in writing to discuss the issue and try to reach an amicable solution. If an amicable solution cannot be reached, the client may turn to the Consumer Disputes Board. This must be done in writing and within one year of the complaint being submitted to the lawyer in writing. A lawyer must first have a claim against a client for payment examined by the Consumer Disputes Board before taking any enforcement action against the client. More information is available on the Swedish Bar Association’s website.
